My family and I have been dining here for many years and thoroughly enjoy this restaurant. I will do my best to be impartial in this review but this King's location is one of my favorites. Positive observations: - The restaurant is usually very clean, well lit, and while simple in design, maintains good aesthetics. - I am always pleased with the food. It is well prepared and meets my expectations for consistency of quality. My favorites include the fried chicken sandwich, the barbecue baked potato, and the baked potato casserole. The french fries are also very good and come out hot and delicious (especially when dipped into the house barbecue sauce). - The staff is VERY friendly. They carry a down-to-earth demeanor and cause me to feel valued as both a customer and a person. The gentleman (whose name I can't seem to recall) that manages the restaurant will, when on duty, make occasional visits to all of the customers to greet and make sure their needs are met. He does this with a sincere friendliness that suggests he enjoys both his work and his customers. - There appears to be little to no personnel turnover as I see the same friendly faces and am greeted in a familiar way, almost like a friend. The apparent lack of turnover also suggests that the staff is satisfied with their employment and likely invest more of themselves into it. Opportunities for improvement: - I have to dig deep to find any issues, but all I can think of is that the large photo of Marilyn Monroe (pop-icon style art) may not be the most appropriate way to decorate the men's bathroom. Sorry, but that's the only constructive criticism I can think of. This friendly establishment contributes well to the Baytown area's sense of community. I give it an easy FIVE stars! Chris
Kinda pricy, but well worth it. Fast service, great customer service, and delicious food. Huge menu. We had chopped beef, and not any fat! They cut it right in front of you. I would highly recommend Kings.

Amazing! I usually pick at my bbq but my entire meal was eaten besides the bread (just wasn’t me fav). The brisket was falling apart and loaded with flavor. The Mac n cheese was so good that my toddler at most of it! I will be going back...
Love stopping in for BBQ baked potato with a little extra sauce. Good food and great staff.
We enjoyed our meal. We purchase 4 dinners which were steak and shrimp, half chicken, brisket and a brisket sandwich. They were all excellent. Staff was kind and patient with my special needs daughter. One man was exceptional coming to our table to ask how everything was and if we needed anything else. I'm not sure if he was the manager or owner.

Good barbecue. I once only ate BBQ I personally cooked because I cook award-winning BBQ. The only other barbecue I will eat is King's. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.
